Dear Parents, Guardians and Community,
Great News, school is returning on Friday. We have had around 15 students at school most days, so it has been a quiet old place. The school is waiting on official communication to let us know any other new restrictions. This information will not be known until tomorrow. Unfortunately with Church numbers restricted, this week's First Communion has had to be postponed again.
Today the school continued it's work with Paul Swan. Fortunately, lock down has not caused any delay with this as Paul is based out of Perth and we were always connecting online. In his previous session Paul worked with staff to increase the amount of Literacy we use during our Mathematics lessons. We have seen immediate results with our students using much better mathematics vocabulary. We look forward to the work Paul is doing with us today.
I am drawn to the Prayer of St Francis at these times.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
God bless and stay safe
Anthony
Thank you
A special thanks to the Year 4 & 5 parents for their patience and understanding during these difficult times. As you know, the changing of Eucharist dates has been out of my control and I am working closely with Father Greg to ensure that your child’s faith journey continues, albeit when we are allowed to!
Regards
