Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week marks the first visit of our Preps for next year. We are restricted to ten on site at a time, which is a new challenge, but it will be just terrific to see them here.
School Planning for 2021: We are spending some of our staff meetings preparing for 2021. The main curriculum focus will be on the teaching of Mathematics. We were planning to make inroads into this this year, but all plans went out the door with the interuptions. We aim to have our annual plan completed by the end of the year.
Traffic Plan: Just a quick update on the traffic plan. All positive and my conversations with Hobson's Bay Council are all about it going ahead over 2021. They have changed the positioning of some of the crossings, but that affects Williamstown Primary more than us, so all looking good.
Building Project Updates: Our year 5 students have now been back in their rooms for a few days and they are very happy. The hall lights are now done and the audio work should be finished Thursday. The hall is looking really good. Hopefully the external works are finished early next week. I have prices on re-carpeting the school so we should be able to get a start on that next year, it has a 12 week order timeline, so Christmas looks out of the question. I have two prices on an electronic door, waiting on a third. I am hoping we might be able to get that done over Christmas.
Class Lists: Once again we do ask that you do not make requests for classes/teachers in 2021. We do try to treat all families the same so everyone is in the same situation. Class lists are really complex and will never be perfect but we do try to balance gender, ability, needs and friendship groups.
I am involved in Principal meetings tomorrow and I will not be at the school.
God Bless and Stay Safe

The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (November 21st)
When Mary was asked to be the mother of the Savior, she was completely free to accept or reject the offer. Her response, “Let it be done to me,” was a great act of faith. Because she did not understand what was happening, she must have known that there would be difficulties ahead.
She replied yes to the angel's announcement and agreed to become the mother of Jesus, and the Church has declared Mary to be the Mother of God. Because she was the first to say yes to the Messiah, the Church has declared her to be the Mother of the Church.
Thank you!
Many thanks to our marvelous Year 6 students who presented our Remembrance Day ceremonies to our P - 5 classes across the school last Wednesday. A job well done!
Upcoming Liturgies
As we are still unable to gather as a whole school group in the church, we will continue to provide liturgies of important feast dates and occasions over the loudspeaker.
