Dear Parents, Guardians and Community,
First Communion. Congratulations to all our First Communion candidates from 4H. It was a beautiful ceremony on Sunday and they made their school and families proud. Thanks again to the families, staff and parish for all their work and support. Thank you to Charlotte Lipnicki for her leadership in our Faith Community.
Poetry Slam. Only one week away from our Poetry Slam. Our Year 6 students are very excited and looking forward to their performances. Please join us Friday June 16 in our Hall at 11:30.
Addicted to Technology: I notice our Parent TV video this week is about our children getting addicted to technology. I encourage all to watch this short video. It is a common problem that I am hearing from many parents as our children are spending more and more time on technology. There is some good advice on this video on where to get started with your children.
School Sports: This Friday we will be completing any athletic events we didn't get time for at the athletics day last Tuesday. During the session we will run the following events on Robertson Reserve.
God Bless
Anthony

Emmanuel encourages the promotion of service, justice, peace and integrity of creation throughout
the year and during June we focus on homelessness. It is encouraging to see our students support St
Vincent de Paul’s Winter Warmup, by donating winter clothes, socks, scarves, blankets, beanies, and
non-perishable food. On 16 June students will participate in the Winter Sleepout, to experience
sleeping out of their comfort zone and showing solidarity with the homeless.

St Mary's Families Supporting Each Other
Financially: Did you know that families often financially donate to support other families. This may come in the form of offering to pay for another families school fees, camp fees or other costs. We cannot give money to another family directly, however we can use that money to supplement their school fees, camp fees etc.)To support another family in our school, use our normal bank account with a reference;
ST MARY'S FAMILY SUPPORT DONATION
Bank Account BSB 083 347 Account Number: 658206494
Second Hand Uniform Shop: Many families donate old uniforms to our second hand shop. These second hand uniforms are either resold or donated to families in our school.
Book Exchange: Did you know we have a book exchange near the entry of our school? Many families use this to donate and swap books.
